We’ve found that some conditions are best addressed in a clinical environment, while other conditions are best treated in the patient’s home. At the same time, there are several geriatric conditions treated in both clinical and home environments. An evaluation conducted by one of our physical therapists gives us an overall picture of the patient’s needs, and informs us as to what interventions are necessary. This assessment determines the best setting(s) for the patient to receive geriatric rehabilitation services.
